While we've had our own AI assess virtually every question asked in a ton of broker forums (mainly to assess suitability as a general tool, but also to compare other AI services against our own), I'll often post questions into ChatGPT myself just to get an idea of how much it knows, and to get a feel for the quality of responses... and it seemingly knows everything (one example image attached).
Our AI is still the best in the industry for policy information, but even 'inferior' OpenAI models will outperform every commercial service in the market (and it'll probably surpass our system sometime very soon), and the AI responses are consistently far, far, far better than the generic, subjective, flawed, 'lacking', and biased human responses in various online forums (in particular, FB groups).
My point? Consider using ChatGPT for general policy guidance - it's better than what you're using now, and it (sadly) far exceeds the value of responses in general discussion groups (as an example, when fed with a *long* history of questions from the popular F&C FB group, 100% of responses generated by AI were more correct, more valid, far more comprehensive, and of a much higher quality). Online groups are still good to discuss the human experience, but AI has us beat on broad policy knowledge.
If you haven't tried it already, AI can accept borrower data, wash it against potential policies, and then return product recommendations... and the results are almost as good as our own BeNet. For a free system that isn't specifically trained on the nuances of our industry, it does a tremendous job.
I'm going to run a demo very soon where I show a system we've built that responds to voice commands and does just about anything you ask if it. It negates the need to interact with your CRM, will post social, make phone calls, collect documents, compile compliance info, and perform just about *any* other task. Best of all, it's self-hosted on a dedicated PC with a microphone.
