Another Shad (or Shit Ad, brought to you by Revvitalise, illegally representing themselves as 'Rock My Mortgage' ) that introduces brokers to non-compliance and potential litigation by way of unapproved usage of a 'Kath and Kim' image.
To be sure the image was not approved for commercial use in advertising programs, we contacted a representative for Jane Turner and Gina Riley. Our contact, of course, confirmed that the image was not licenced.
Using a character or likeness of any character without appropriate licencing is theft.
Apart from the unapproved theft of the image (leaving brokers liable for damages), the back-end customer experience was garbage.
